September 25-27 Mac In Your City 2025

Remember all those discussions you had at Mac, all the new ideas, and passions you discovered? Enjoy that same energy again at Mac In Your City events all over the world. Meet new alumni and reconnect with those you know in your area. You will find there is a little bit of Mac wherever you are!

Events have been organized around the world by alumni hosts, creating opportunities to gather and engage in community and conversation. Show your Mac pride by wearing blue and orange, take a photo, and share online using the #heymac or #MIYC25 hashtags.

    Event Details

Open to all alumni! Entry to the museum is free, no reservation required. Meet in the lobby before exploring different parts of the museum. Depending on interest, there is also a museum cafe and restaurant, a park connected to the museum with trails, a lake, and a great view of the city.

The museum has accessible entrances, restrooms, and elevators (wheelchairs and strollers are also offered free of charge in the main lobby). There are also free lockers on the ground floor where you can store bags/jackets. Open from 10 am to 9 pm on Saturdays.

Ichon station (Subway Line 4) is the closest station. There is an elevator towards Exit 1 and 2 of the station. Use Exit 2 if walking to arrive on the grounds of the museum (there is an underground passage connecting Ichon station to the museum). There is a parking lot, but space is limited and it probably won't be ideal on a Saturday. (It costs 2,000 krw for the first 2 hours and 500 every extra 30 minutes. 10,000 krw for the whole day. 1,000 krw = $0.72). It'll be a very low financial pressure, chill event. Activities will be shaped by what everyone wants to do. (Enter "National Museum of Korea" into Kakao Maps and it'll show you how to get there. Google Maps is not supported in Korea)

    Hosted by Yoonjin Shu '21.
