Mac In Your City: Philadelphia, PA

Remember all those discussions you had at Mac, all the new ideas, and passions you discovered? Enjoy that same energy again at Mac In Your City events all over the world. Meet new alumni and reconnect with those you know in your area. You will find there is a little bit of Mac wherever you are!

Events have been organized around the world by alumni hosts, creating opportunities to gather and engage in community and conversation. Show your Mac pride by wearing blue and orange, take a photo, and share online using the #heymac or #MIYC25 hashtags.

Event Details

All Macalester alumni and their families are invited to gather at America's first Zoo - The Philadelphia Zoo. The current President/CEO of the Zoo, Dr. Jo-Elle Mogerman '92, will be joining us for part of the event.  We will gather at the Impala Fountain, a picnic area within the zoo and near the entrance. Everyone is then invited to enjoy the sights and sounds of one of America's great zoos.

If we get a big enough group signed up, we can get discounted tickets. Please RSVP through the Macalester registration and then your hosts, Michael Skoien '73 and Kate Saylor '05, will provide instructions on how to pay for the tickets. Multiple food options are available on-site.
