FY23 Alumni Board Nomination Form

Please use this form to nominate fellow Macalester alumni for the Alumni Board. The Alumni Board serves to build and strengthen the Macalester alumni community by fostering meaningful relationships between alumni and the college, connecting with current students, helping the college achieve its strategic priorities, and acting through its members as ambassadors of the college. Nominations are open through January 31, 2023.

Once you have submitted this form, staff will reach out to the individual you nominated to encourage them to apply to join the Alumni Board in 2023. Your nominee must complete the application themselves by January 31, 2023 in order to be considered for a position on the Alumni Board. While we will contact your nominee, we strongly encourage you to alert them to your nomination and encourage them to apply. Applications for the Alumni Board are a highly competitive process, with over 30 alumni applying for 5 open positions in 2022. The ideal Alumni Board member enjoys connecting with the Macalester community, maintains alumni connections, has ideas for community building and engagement, and brings ideas and skills that they would enjoy using to advance the mission of the Alumni Board.
