Mac In Your City is a three-day celebration of the Macalester community, bringing alumni together in cities and towns around the world for connection, conversation, and community.

Each event is unique because it's hosted by alumni. Whether you're gathering over coffee, enjoying a meal, exploring a local museum, or taking a neighborhood walk, you'll have the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet fellow Scots, and celebrate the Macalester spirit close to home.

Event Details

Come join us for a relaxed afternoon gathering on the Arts Ark at Tower Bridge Moorings. Let's share drinks and memories while on an open barge with a great view of the Thames. Please bring snacks and/or drinks to share and be prepared for the weather.

Tower Bridge Moorings is a residential community that is a bit like a small town in the big city. We will be using the communal Arts Ark- please dress to be outside and be respectful of privacy. We're about 15 minutes give or take from London Bridge or Bermondsey station. The nearest bus stop is Dockhead. We can also organise some parking if asked in advance. Please bring drinks and/or snacks to share- there's a co-op and some local shops down the road.
