Mac In Your City is a three-day celebration of the Macalester community, bringing alumni together in cities and towns around the world for connection, conversation, and community.

Each event is unique because it's hosted by alumni. Whether you're gathering over coffee, enjoying a meal, exploring a local museum, or taking a neighborhood walk, you'll have the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet fellow Scots, and celebrate the Macalester spirit close to home.

Event Details

Drop by the colorful Adirondack chairs on the Chicago Riverwalk! This is a casual, drop-in event, so feel free to come and go as you please. Bring a snack or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage for a relaxing evening picnic as we catch up, enjoy the weather, and watch the boats go by.

Public transit is recommended, as the venue is in the heart of downtown Chicago. Family friendly. Non-Mac guests are welcome.
